I'm captaining our local side this year, and I've got two guys who keep dropping out 30 minutes before the start. How do you deal with it without causing a rift in the team?

Be firm. Darts is a team game. If they can't commit, they shouldn't be on the main roster.

I had to drop a friend last season for the same thing. Tough, but necessary for the rest of the team.
